Marijuana business reality show looking for ‘budding ganjapreneurs

August 2014: DENVER – A new reality web series called The Marijuana Show is looking for people with a business plan, idea, invention or product that will change the industry.

Auditions are being held at a Denver bar this weekend. Auditions will be videotaped and could end up on The Marijuana Show. Interested parties must be 21 or older and need to register online.

Applicants must have valid identification and should come prepared with their best two-minute pitch. You should know how much you need to raise and what you are offering investors. Producers recommend bringing a head shot or photo of yourself, along with a resume or biography containing your contact information. Bringing a business and marketing plan is also suggested, but not required.

Four to six entrepreneurs and inventors will be chosen to compete.The “ganjapreneurs” will go through a three-day boot camp in Denver, Colorado in mid-October.

Competitors will be coached by top mentors including, a lawyer, an acting coach and an investor, a video on the website explains. “The lucky winners get financing and mentorship and may be the next Marijuana Millionaires!” producers stated.
